Climblife is a marketplace for climbing guides. Climblife does not check for certification for guides, however, if you see an AMGA badge on a profile it designates certification
Climbers must be 18 years or older to use the site. Both Climber and host must always wear a helmet.
Host agree to be using gear/equipment up to industry standards, in excellent conditions. Host agree to follow all federal and state laws, including permits, certifications, taxes, and insurance.
Host must provide all necessary equipment for the trip that has been posted (excluding harness and shoes). *We recommend you bring an extra harness; however, this is not required. Bouldering trips do not require ropes.
When posting a trip, you will have to accurately define the trip start/end time, experience level, type of climbing trip, and the spot at which the trip takes place.
You are required to meet up with the climber in the destination spot you agree. The climber and Host will message where they will meet up. You will meet up at the time you selected in the trip start time, and you will end when the trip is completion.
Host If you must cancel, the first is not an offense. The second will result in an account warning. The third offense will end in termination of your host account.
No illegal activities, drugs, or other criminal activities will be permissible. This will result in authorities being contacted.
Host are independent contractors and are in no way employees of Climblife. Payment is every second and fourth Friday through PayPal. This can be changed in your settings.
Guides keep 72% of the transaction. In the case of an emergency, immediately seek medical assistance.
After the trip is booked, the climber will be sent a message to set up the meet up location and time of trip with their host. (Ex. hotel, home address, etc.)
Climber must bring their own rock climbing shoes and harness for the trip. Some hosts may provide shoes and harness, please check listing. You can rent shoes, or harness from Climblife too.
